Profesor Recruta
Chris Montiel has been practicing Capoeira for 15 years. He is a well-known capoeirista nicknamed “Recruta” who was graduated “Formado” in 2005 by the United Capoeira Association (UCA), an internationally recognized capoeira school. For work as a teacher to children and adults of all levels, Recruta earned the title of “Professor,” granted by UCA founders Mestre Acordeon, Mestre Rã and Mestra Suelly.

An accomplished teacher practiced at attending to the needs of different students, Professor Recruta teaches workshops regularly for schools around the US and has taught seminars in Korea and Mexico.
